Reposting from my Tripadvisor review. Our stay at the Belmond Palacio Nazarenes was unforgettable. The hotel is arguably the best hotel in Peru with impeccably trained staff and luxurious accommodation. Our suite was on the ground floor overlooking the pool and was very well appointed, with beautiful art work and fine furnishings. The food was a culinary delight and the private market tour and cooking class was the highlight for us. We visited Machu Picchu departing from Cusco and travelled on the exquisite Belmond Hiram Bingham train for an overnight stay at Belmond Sanctuary lodge at the entrance to this world heritage wonder. Every detail of our trip was impeccably catered for and we truly had a very memorable experience. The music, wonderful food, amazing staff and true South American hospitality stand out as highlights. We had private tours to the Salt Mines in Maras stopping at Moray for a wonderful exclusive experience and enjoyed a luncheon on the banks of the Urubamba river at Belmond Hotel Rio Sagrado in the Sacred Valley (Ollantaytambo) with our very knowledgeable guides. Não podemos recomendar este hotel o suficiente.

Refúgio de paz e exclusividade no centro de Cuzco. Ficamos no hotel por 2 noites como a última etapa no Peru. Todo o tratamento foi primoroso, as instalações impecáveis... provavelmente um dos melhores hotéis em que já estivemos. Só lhes daria um Mas: o pequeno-almoço, apesar de bom, é algo a melhorar a nível da variedade do buffet (não sabemos se é pela mudança de cozinha que estavam a fazer)

Remanso de paz y exclusividad en el centro de Cuzco. Nos hemos alojado en el hotel 2 noches como última etapa en Perú. Todo el trato ha sido exquisito, las instalaciones impecables... probablemente uno de los mejores hoteles en los que hemos estado. Sólo les daría un Pero: el desayuno , aunque bueno, es algo a mejorar en cuanto variedad del buffet (no sabemos si es por el cambio de cocina que estaban realizando)

I've stayed in thousands of hotels in my life. All of them were classified as five-star hotels. This hotel is by far the best hotel that I've ever had the pleasure to stay. From the hot water bottle llamas in our bed at turndown to the amazing amount of items throughout the room that make the stay absolutely enjoyable. The staff is amazing. The food is Michelin level and the amenities and spa are absolute perfection. From now on every city I visit that has a Belmond hotel, train, ship, or restaurant I will be visiting them all. Absolute perfection. Well done!

Amazing hotel. High quality food, great rooms, top service, beautiful historical building with multiple patios, a great pool and nice bar. I highly recommend the restaurant, which was particularly good and original (mix of Italian and Peruvian cuisines).

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and can safely say this is one of the top 3. The hotel is truly beautiful: designed within the old walls, in a style which fits in perfectly with the city of Cusco. Most luxury hotels try to stand out; this hotel tries to fit in. The food was excellent, the heated pool was amazing, the oxygenated rooms great for our son, and the staff were uniquely kind and helpful. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I suggest doing a day trip to Machu Picchu rather than trying to stay there one night (which we did). It will be a long day but this hotel is so nice that in retrospect we should have just used it as a base rather than a stopover.

My Boyfriend and I stayed at the Belmond and Oh my goodness still the best hotel i've every stayed at! from the service, to the view, the food, the locations, the room, and amenities this hotel deserves more then 5 stars!!!!!! Thank you Belmond for making our stay at the Belmond exceptional!

El masaje en el Spa altamente decepcionante. El lugar es hermoso, las instalaciones son excelentes! Sin embargo, la atención en general es mediocre, desde la recepción principal del Hotel, pasando por la recepción del Spa... lo peor e imperdonable es el mezquino servicio de masajes, resalta la falta de tecnica de las masajistas, lo cual es casi vulgar para un lugar de esa categoría. No volvería a ir y tampoco lo recomiendo.

The instant we got to Belmond Palacio Nazarenas we knew we should have booked more nights. It is the best hotel we've ever stayed at. We were greeted with some delicious tea and cookies, and then showed to our room. We had been upgraded to a bigger suite. The room itself was beautiful, as well as the bathroom with separate toilet, shower, and a huge bathtub. We also had a balcony overlooking a beautiful courtyard. We then settled in and had the complimentary pisco sour lesson in our room with our wonderful butler Victor. When I mentioned I would love to try some Peruvian fruits, he brought a tray of multiple local fruits so I could try them all in our room! Rooms also include complimentary pisco, rum, espresso, and a free stocked minibar and snacks. The heated outdoor swimming pool is outrageously beautiful. The breakfast buffet was stunning and delicious. You can also use the steam room at the spa for free. We were almost crying as we packed our suitcases... Can't wait to visit another Belmond hotel on our next vacation.

Really beautiful hotel in the heart of Cusco. The rooms are spacious and well maintained with oxygen added via the air vents. Nice free minibar and liquor area. Spa was pretty bad though - somehow got 5 minutes shaved off my massage and the massage wasnt that good either. The manager offered no explanation when I asked why my massage ended earlier than my friends'. Skip the spa and the experience would be a great one.

Absolutely the best hotel you can find in Peru! The service was impeccable and the staff was extremely friendly! The property is also so beautiful and has lots of history associated with it. We can’t wait to be back.

Lugar idílico, donde comer y estar muy agusto con el ambiente que se respira de tranquilidad, en pleno centro de Cusco. Precios elevados para lo habitual de la zona, pero la calidad de producto y preparaciones merecen muchísimo la pena. La atención de los trabajadores también fue magnifica. En definitiva, un 10*****!

A world class hotel, in a former 18th century convent. One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. (They have even retained and restored the ornate chapel)The service is about as good as it gets: professional, attentive, and very friendly. No detail is overlooked. Turndown includes the requisite chocolate and a wooly waterbottle to warm thw bed! The restaurant on site is also exceptional, with wonderful contemporary Peruvian food.

The best hotel in Peru! We got free room upgrade and personal butler service. Room is beautiful and clean. Bathroom floor can be heated to any preferred temp. Greeted with coca tea and cheese board. Unlimited pisco and rum in the room. Local snack and beverage bar free of charge. Wonderful pool and great view from the pool. Beautiful and historical property to explore. Wish we had stayed for longer time there.
