“The Ritz Carlton is one of grandeur and elegance, and during the festive season of Christmas it was particularly beautiful. We had a wonderful stay for 5 nights over the Christmas period, and enjoyed breathtaking views from our 51st floor room. We had a spectacular Christmas Day lunch at Azure 45, with meticulous attention to detail and delicious food and service. We also thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Hinokizaka where our chef created the most splendid and unique meal for us. We were utterly impressed. My husband and I visited the Ritz Carlton bar on several evenings, and were delightfully entertained by the live performances, especially the singer from the USA. We also found the bar staff to be very attentive and accommodating, in particular, Jimmy who we felt offered us exceptional service. He went over and above his duties and we truly felt like VIP guests. His ability to ensure every patron feels special is a unique quality, which encouraged us to repeatedly visit the bar during our stay. We thank all of the staff for a memorable stay at the Ritz Carlton, with notable appreciation to Jimmy. We look forward to our return in the near future!”

“I am having a hard time deciding on a rating for the Ritz Carlton. First of all, location and team are 5/5. The views you get are stunning. The service was attentive and the team tried to implement my every request (I even received another room after asking for it for simply wanting another view). Service was undoubtedly one of the best I have ever had. Was on a business trip, so I wasn't able to enjoy most of the services of the hotel apart from the pool with the spectacular pool. What somehow got the rating down for me are two things: 1) the huge rooms felt a little outdated in the interior design and one could argue that a do over to a more modern design could help (but that most likely depends on the philosophy of the hotel). All in all the price did not feel right for what I received (although the attentive staff and stunning views), compared to other hotels in the area. 2) my second room and large traces of mould in the shower which should not happen in a hotel of that reputation and ambition. It was clearly visible that they tried to unsuccessfully clean it and in my opinion they should not rent the room until this is fixed. After mentioning it to the reception, I was directly offered another room (another proof of great service), which I declined as it was late on my last night anyways. Typically, the mold thing would lead me to a 1 star rating but that would not serve justice to the location and the team. Maybe I have better luck on my next stay.”
