This resort is a luxury, slope side property and the lodge is located within the Canyons Resort village. Guests will find the town centre, bars, restaurants, the ski area and the tourist centre all a 1-minute walk from the lodge and it is a short drive or shuttle ride to Park City's historic Main Street. It is around a 10-minute drive to Utah Olympic Park and the Tanger Outlet Center, 16 minutes' drive to the Deer Valley Resort and some 23 minutes by car to the Jordanelle Reservoir. Hogle Zoo is around 30 minutes' drive, Jordanelle State Park is 35 minutes by car and it is around a 37-minute drive to Salt Lake City and about 38 minutes' drive to Wasatch National Forest. The Great Salt Lake is 50 minutes by car and it is around an hour's drive to Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. The lodge is located a short 55 km from Salt Lake City International (SLC) Airport. This family-friendly ski lodge comprises a total of 85 apartments and is a ski-in/ski-out property and represents a high standard of luxury at The Canyons. This exclusive retreat is reminiscent of the grand European lodges from a bygone era with its native mountain stonework and timber frame construction. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, lift access and conference facilities. Stay here!!! Mary Ellen was an amazing bartender and representative for Hyatt. If you are lucky you will get her on one of her bartending shifts and she will entertain you while providing amazing service.
That said, make other plans for breakfast. The resort dropped 2 stars for their mishandling of that meal. We waited in line 22 minutes to even order food, and an interminable wait after to actually receive it. The Hyatt also protects their coffee like golden treasure, charged per cup and only after another wait while the single cashier pours it. Either of the 2 front desk associates standing idly by could easily have jumped in as assistant cashiers to speed up the process immensely.

My husband and I stayed at The Hyatt Centric in PC this past weekend for our wedding! We had the most amazing stay. Our room was beautiful, very clean, and every staff member we encountered was so helpful and kind. Doris Rodriguez, the event and sales manager helped us book our hotel room block for guests as well as our own suite. She was patient with our many questions, and quick to answer our emails. Her responses were so friendly and understanding every time. She is truly amazing. We would highly recommend staying at The Hyatt for a wedding weekend or just a weekend away.

We stayed here for our anniversary. We found it from Air BNB. Even though there was construction down the corner we had to drive past. It was kept out of the way and easy to travel past.
When we got to checkin, the staff was friendly and helpful. Once we got to the room, it was clean and inviting with smooth jazz playing.
It’s changed the way I travel. I’ll be staying in places like this from here on out. Especially since it cost barely more than a typical hotel.
Since ours was a private stay, our hosts were Heather and Beau. They were great hosts and checked in with us regularly.
