“The bad:
1. Lengthy check in process. It's a family run hotel and someone is available all the time to work the desk, but they are not always present. I had to call someone up and check in took longer than most hotels I've stayed in.
2. Shampoo in the room was obviously on its second use. The soap was shrink wrapped in plastic and probably not reused, but the shampoo made me question that. There were no wash clothes in the bathroom. It made me uncomfortable thinking that the soap provided may have been touching some stranger's body before mine.
The good:
1. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating. They let me check in a little early so I could take a nap before work.
2. Breakfast made to order. They give you a slip upon check in to write your breakfast order. Much better than the normal waffles/powdered eggs offerings of other hotel breakfasts.
3. Affordable. My room rate was a very good value.”
