Eu absolutamente amo este hotel!! Quartos~Belas vistas da varanda e quartos muito modernos e limpos. Serviço ~ O serviço aqui é incrível! Eles são muito agradáveis aqui e irão atender a todas as suas necessidades. Localização~A localização não poderia ser melhor! Bem na praia, CVS a uma curta distância, perto da cidade, mas não muito perto. No geral ~ este é um dos melhores hotéis em que já fiquei. Venho a Puerto Rico muito, então isso é tão conveniente. O restaurante perto da piscina é delicioso. A piscina é tão relaxante. Ironicamente, estou voltando para este hotel! Estou indo em 3 dias. Honestamente, este hotel tornará suas férias perfeitas :)

Buen Hotel, piscina grande y limpia, playa hermosa y servicio bueno. Acabo de pasar 4 días y realmente pude haber disfrutado mas el Hotel, al menos las mañanas cuando la playa está divina para los ninos, pero opté por salir a pasear por San Juan y ya es tarde para arrepentirce. Tengo el deber de advertir algunas cosas a los que no han ido a PR para que no te sorprendan, San Juan es caro, desproporcianadamente caro, yo creo que mas caro y no mejor que miami, el Hotel es caro también, pero toda esa zona es así, un jugo de naranja pequeño vale algo mas de $5, yo creo que en PR se ha perdido el respeto por el dinero (Ellos culpan a los politicos hasta de la falta de pintura en su propio negocio ). El Valet Parking del hotel cuesta approx $34 dolares diarios, me parece abusivo. Las habitaciones son grandes, modernasy limpias, pero no tiene Microwave, si viajas con niños te hacen firmar un papel de liability y hay que bajar al primer piso cada ves que quieras darle leche caliente a tu bebe. Pero tampoco es para escojer otro Hotel,no te desanimes, si puedes pagar la opción es buena.

I absolutely love this hotel!! Rooms~Beautiful views from balcony and very modern and clean rooms. Service~The service here is amazing! They are very nice here and will adhere to all your needs. Location~The location couldn't be better! Right on the beach, CVS within walking distance, close to the city, but not too close. Overall~This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. I come to Puerto Rico a lot so this is so convenient. The restaurant near the pool is delicious. The pool is so relaxing. Ironically, I'm coming back to this hotel! I'm going in 3 days. Honestly, this hotel will make your vacation perfect:)

Participou de uma conferência aqui. Tinha vistas fenomenais, acesso à praia e piscina fantástica e limpa. Minha única reclamação foi que um dos elevadores estava fora, então às vezes havia bastante espera. Boa variedade de restaurantes e tem uma pequena loja de presentes. Poderia fazer melhor publicidade do salão.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. We thanked the valet parking employees and they didn't even cared to answer back. Antonio Rodriguez from the front desk treated my parents like peasants. They were embarrassed but stayed calmed. It is very saddening when you witness someone treating your parents like that. No one from the pool staff smiles or even looks at you. You had to go to the restaurant to get service. In the pool&beach restaurant, we were served by a waitress and when her shift ended, she just left without saying anything to us even though we were still waiting for our food. We had to ask, and apparently another waiter was left in charge, but he never showed up and never introduced himself to say hi, he just brought the food and that was it. His attitude was so bad, not rude, but you could tell he could care less and had cero customer service skills. The only staff who had a good attitude and was helpful was a young kid (had plugs), a runner I think.Our family was inside the pool in a group and one of the staffs was cleaning the pool with the Telescoping Pool pole, and he was passing it among our family group without asking permission, like literally in between us. I was amazed by the disrespect. What a bad bad experience.

Attended a conference here. Had phenomenal views, beach access, and fantastic and clean pool. My only complaint was one of the elevators was out so sometimes there was quite a wait. Good range of restaurants and has a cute little gift shop. Could do better advertising the salon.

Eu tenho 4 estrelas para o quarto porque cheirava a xixi para mim e nossa pia BR estava entupida.. A vista geral para o mar era linda e o serviço de quarto e a equipe foram excepcionais. Localização localização foi o melhor hit cercado por tudo os restaurantes de praia, cassinos, farmácias, lojas de bebidas. É a localização perfeita. William, que trabalha no hotel, é um amor e tem hospitalidade estelar e é muito gentil. Nós o amamos, bem como sua gestão. Esteja preparado para pagar US $ 100 por dia pelo depósito de segurança se você reservar por meio de terceiros, porque não estávamos realmente cortando nossos gastos, mas a política é política. Graças a Deus pelo happy hour no hotel porque com certeza ajudou a nossa estadia...

I have 4 stars for the room because it smelled like pee to me and our BR sink was cloggedup.. The overall ocean view was gorgeous and the room service and staff were exceptional. Location location was the best hit surrounded by everything the beach restaurants, casinos, drugstores, liquor stores. It's the perfect location. William who works at the hotel he is such a sweetheart and has Stellar hospitality and he is very personable. We love him as well as their management. Be prepared to pay $100 per day for the security deposit if you book through a third party because we were not it really cut into our spending but policy is policy. Thank God for happy hour at the hotel because it definitely helped our stay...

Resort lindo e atualizado! Excelente localização na praia e perto de restaurantes locais. A comida do resort era muito cara e nada assombrosa. Muito bom pessoal. A porta do chuveiro não fechava e os travesseiros eram muito desconfortáveis para nós. Varanda pequena demais para ter cadeiras, mas vistas deslumbrantes. Jardins lindos, bem conservados. Não me senti lotado nas instalações, e não muitas crianças para perturbar a nossa viagem de casais. Silêncio nos corredores e quarto. Voltaria!

A equipe é simpática, cortês, prestativa e muito flexível da porta da frente até a praia. Quartos muito agradáveis com banheiros atualizados; o nosso tinha uma bela vista da piscina e do mar. Os restaurantes estavam um passo acima do que lembrávamos de 10 anos atrás. No entanto, parece que o restaurante de sushi não está em funcionamento neste momento.

The staff is friendly, courteous, helpful and very accommodating from the front door all the way down to the beach. Very nice rooms with updated bathrooms; ours had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Restaurants were a step above what we remembered from 10 years ago. However, it appears that the sushi restaurant is not in operation at this time.

Beautiful, updated resort! Great location on the beach and near local eateries. Resort food was overpriced and underwhelming. Very nice staff. Shower door didn't latch closed, and pillows were so uncomfortable to us. Balcony too small to even have chairs on but gorgeous views. Gorgeous grounds,well kept. Didn't feel crowded on the premises, and not too many kids to disturb our couples trip. Quiet in the halls and room. Would go back!

La habitación daba directo a la piscina. La playa es un ensueño. Limpia, iluminada, con una cama y una almohadas tan comidas que hicieron que durmiera más de mí usual en hoteles. El personal amable, servicial. Sí tiene un pequeño detalle para quienes como yo trabajan viajando: no tiene refrigerador en la habitación, por lo que tuve que improvisar con hielo. Y mis icepacks se los di al amable personal para que me los metieran en un congelador y se congelaran. Error mío: debí decir ''freezer'', así que no comida corre el riesgo de dañarse. Eso para quienes viajan trabajando y viajan con comida. Para turistas es perfecto.

Lovely hotel by the sea, great beach, very conveniently they have someone bring your chairs and umbrella and is very helpful at picking the perfect spot for you to sit. All staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. We had a room facing the city/laguna with views of landing planes at the nearby airport. Very fun to see, not too loud. Husband hates noisy hotels , but this was not at all a problem. Room is spacious, comfortable, has small fridge but no microwave. Coffee they provide is delicious. Our coffee machine broke and they replaced it immediately. Bed is very comfortable, nice size TV. Bathroom is convenient, the shower is lovely - rain style plus handheld. Good water pressure. Only inconvenience, as in so many hotels... not enough hooks and place to hang towels and wet bathing suits. Great pool area. Wonderful experience!

We stayed here for 5 days right before Christmas. We absolutely loved everything about it! Very nice room, Great pool, great access to the beach, loved the white sand beach. My wife and I actually spent a lot of time in the water. Fun neighborhood to walk around.

Just to begin there are ants at the property. Today is my birthday, and riding the elevator power goes out as I am on the elevator.they initially tried to offer me a sorry as if that was acceptable and in turn offered a trash 100 dollar discount.I have anxiety and have always had fear of being stuck in an elevator....day ruined.

Os funcionários do hotel desenvolveram uma atitude melhor em relação aos seus clientes. Os quartos são agradáveis, limpos e tranquilos. A comida é melhor do que eu esperava porque eu geralmente não como no hotel porque eles geralmente não têm um prato vegano no menu. O prato de couve-flor frita estava excelente, fiquei muito impressionado e é preciso muito para me impressionar na hora de preparar um prato vegano. O hotel está localizado em uma área excelente para sair e comer em restaurantes diferentes e apenas dar uma olhada na cidade. San Juan tem gente bonita e gosto de lá.

No dia 06/12/2021, saímos de férias e pensamos que seria um lugar maravilhoso para nos divertirmos. Eu reservei este hotel com bastante antecedência, que inclui uma cama king size e um quarto deluxe com vista para o mar. Em vez disso, consegui um quarto com (2) camas queen size com vista para o mar. Quando voltei para fazer o check-in, o gerente "Stephanie Nora" de plantão disse: "Camas king size não são garantidas no momento do check-in, é uma solicitação, você só paga pela vista para o mar". Eu paguei com antecedência por um quarto deluxe king size com vista para o mar. Em nenhum lugar do site quando reservei minha estadia no Royal Sonesta, San Juan declarou que meu quarto king size deluxe não estava garantido. Gastei mais de US $ 2.000 para ter uma semana de férias românticas de aniversário para minha namorada. Eles tiveram um mês para entrar em contato comigo para me informar que meu quarto King Size não estava garantido. Depois de reclamar por dois dias, eles finalmente decidiram nos dar o King Size deluxe que eu paguei originalmente. Não vou recomendar ninguém que conheço a este hotel.

Alguns problemas de limpeza com o quarto em geral, cabelos escuros encaracolados encontrados por toda a cama, sem lençol de cima, manchas nas cadeiras e carpetes. Não esperado ou previsto durante uma pandemia. Excelente propriedade, localização fabulosa, anteriormente Intercontinental. No momento do check-in, o quarto parecia limpo e recentemente renovado. On 12/06/2021, we went on a vacation and thought this would be a wonderful place to enjoy ourselves. Well In advance I booked this hotel which include a King Size bed, deluxe room with a ocean view. Instead I got a room with (2) queen size beds with a ocean view. When I went back down to check-in the Manager "Stephanie Nora" on duty says "King Size beds are not guaranteed upon check-in it's a request, you only pay for the ocean view". I paid for a king size deluxe room with the ocean view well in-advance. Nowhere on the website when I booked my stay at the Royal Sonesta, San Juan stated my King size deluxe room was not guaranteed. I spent over $2000 to have a romantic birthday week vacation for my girlfriend. They had a month to contact me to let me know that my King Size room was not guaranteed. After complaining for two days, they finally decided to give us the King Size deluxe I originally paid for. I will not recommend anybody I know to this hotel.

Some cleanliness issues with the room overall, dark curly hairs found all over the bed, no top sheet, stains on chairs and carpeting. Not expected or anticipated during a pandemic. Great property, fabulous location, formerly the Intercontinental. Upon check in the room appeared clean and newly renovated. Staff is attentive and kind.

I was a little nervous because my husband picked and booked this hotel and I had never heard of it. But the second we got here we realized it was absolutely GORGEOUS!!! The food, the staff, the location, amenities, the views etc all 5 star! But NOTHING matches the EXCEPTIONAL customer service you get from Salvador at the front desk! The hotel staff has developed a better attitude towards it's customers. The rooms are nice, clean and quiet. The food is better than I anticipated because I usually don't eat at the hotel because they don't usually have a vegan dish on the menu. The fried cauliflower dish was excellent, I was very impressed and it takes a lot to impress me when it comes to fixing a vegan dish. The hotel is located in a great area to go out and about to eat at different restaurants and just look around town. San Juan has beautiful people and I like there.

Este hotel foi perfeito em todos os sentidos possíveis. Você entra e imediatamente sente que está no paraíso. Eu fui para o meu aniversário de 30 anos e fiquei 4 noites, e todos os dias eu ficava tão feliz por escolher este hotel de todos os hotéis que pesquisei anteriormente. Todo mundo foi tão legal. Luis, que nos registrou, foi muito amigável e útil. Esqueci quem nos ajudou no checkout, mas ele também foi extremamente simpático. O carregador, William, era uma alma tão atenciosa e prestativa. Nós o amávamos! Os quartos eram lindos e limpos. A piscina e área de praia foram incrível. Recomendo vivamente este hotel. Eu não hesitaria em voltar. Eu realmente amei tudo sobre isso, especialmente pela minha primeira vez em Porto Rico.

This hotel was perfect in every way possible. You walk in and immediately feel like you are in paradise. I went for my 30th birthday and stayed 4 nights, and every day I was so happy that I chose this hotel out of all the hotels I researched beforehand. Everyone was so nice. Luis, who checked us in, was so friendly and helpful. I forget who helped us during checkout, but he was also extremely pleasant. The bellhop, William, was such a caring and helpful soul. We loved him! The rooms were gorgeous and clean. The pool and beach area were just amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. I would not hesitate to come back. I genuinely loved everything about it, especially for my first time in Puerto Rico.

All was well until my husband and I were coming from breakfast, the security guard stopped us and asked if we stayed at the hotel. We answered yes he went on to say we need wrist bands. Per the hotel policy, the wrist bands are ONLY required to access the pool and beach area. Once my husband showed him our key card, he pulled out a paper to check. The security guard profiled us because of our skin. The Caucasian couples in front of us did not have wrist bands nor did he ask them any questions. The reason we know this is because they are our friends. Before this incident, I would’ve given this hotel a raving ten stars. If your skin is brown, I do not recommend this hotel. Their antics are behind time. He never apologized for his behavior, only further to confirm my suspicion by saying people are sneaking in the hotel, and he wanted to make sure we weren’t. No worries we want be back!

Stay away from here if you plan to relax and enjoy yourself on vacation. they kick you out the pool and hot tub at 9pm. spending this kind of money and being on vaction , the pool and hot tub should be open 24/7 for guest to enjoy and get their moneys worth of fun. i felt like i was in prison when the security came and ran me off to my room at 9pm like i was a baby.

O hotel é lindo, o pessoal atencioso um pouco hostil na recepção, enfim, minha filha foi roubada porque foi um roubo um colar que a gente deu de aniversário pra ela. Dizem que vão procurar quando o quarto estiver limpo. Fazendo papel de idiota. Eles são patifes, eles sabem quem abriu a sala e pegou o colar de qualquer maneira. El hotel esta hermoso, el personal atento un poco antipatica la del front desk, en fin a mi hija le robaron por que fue un robo un collar que le regalamos de cumpleaños. Dicen que lo van a buscar cuando la habitación ya estaba limpia. Haciendo se los tontos. Son pillos saben quien abrio el cuarto y se llevo el collar en fin. No es tan bueno si tus cosas desaparecen. No estoy hablando de un collar de 80 dolares. Pillos e irresponsables habitacion 1119 domingo 12 sep al 13 sep 11am. DELINCUENTES

Where do I even begin. This hotel was absolutely beautiful. From the cleanliness, to staff being super friendly, night entertainment on weekend, and the food was really good, the beach was clean and pool area music at the pool and beach bar, breakfast buffet. It couldn't get any better honestly. I enjoyed my whole experience and highly recommend. I saw families, friends couples it was good for everyone!

This venerable old Intercontinental couldn't be better located, right on a beautiful beach, next door to the airport, a few miles from Old San Juan. As an Ambassador, I was upgraded to a spectacular ocean-facing room. And even though a huge conference was taking place in the hotel, service was great and the property rarely seemed crowded. They do a great job without trying too hard, and everyone appreciates it.

O Royal Sonesta definitivamente superou as expectativas. Grande oceano e bares de piscina. Comida decente. Recomende as ofertas de happy hour (5-7h). Fora da incrível piscina e da propriedade de frente para o mar, o destaque da estadia foi um dos funcionários Pedro. Ele trabalha no bar da piscina - faz bebidas incríveis e literalmente tira o tempo do dia para escrever seus restaurantes e bares locais favoritos. Sem mencionar que ele foi uma das razões pelas quais acabamos reservando o Royal em primeiro lugar - todos os comentários positivos recentes tinham seu nome incluído. Cara incrível!

Hermoso hotel, ambiente moderno. El personal es muy atento. Áreas de descanso aseados. Cuentan con rampa para personas con discapacidad. Piscina grande y limpia. Tieneárea de reserva para actividades privadas. Colinda el hotel con la playa. La comida muy deliciosa.

Royal Sonesta definitely exceeded expectations. Great ocean and pool bars. Decent food. Recommend the happy hour deals (5-7pm). Outside of the awesome pool and ocean front property, the highlight of the stay was one of the employees Pedro. He works at the pool bar - makes awesome drinks and literally took the time out of his day to write down his favorite local restaurants and bars. Not to mention he was one of the reasons we ended up booking Royal in the first place - all the recent positive reviews had his name included. Awesome dude!

O hotel estava acima das minhas expectativas. As comodidades no local eram excelentes, localização excelente na praia, funcionários todos muito simpáticos e prestativos. A única reclamação que tenho é que as portas dos quartos do hotel são aparentemente uma porta classificada para fechar muito rapidamente, o que as torna super barulhentas para todos os hóspedes que tentam dormir em horários diferentes. A piscina e a banheira de hidromassagem foram incríveis, opções de refeições no local, a uma curta caminhada de algumas outras lojas e restaurantes.

The hotel was above my expectations. On-site amenities were great, superb beach location, staff all very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is the hotel room doors are apparently a fire rated door set to swing close very quickly which makes them super loud for all the guests trying to sleep at different hours. The pool and hot tub was amazing, on-site dining options, walking distance to some other stores and restaurants.

Very clean rooms. Service was professional and extremely helpful. Even with covid protocols and restrictions it was still very well done. Pool was large and clean. Happy hour is SUCH a good deal and the cocktails taste GREAT 👍.One and only complaint is that the rooms get extremely humid throughout the day even with all doors closed and AC on full all day. Not sure what they could do to fix this but keep this in mind when thinking about sleeping arrangements.

Staff is great. This was my second stay at this hotel. Previously it was called the InterContinental. The entire hotel area is clean, well maintained, and up-to-date. The only thing I would change is the wrist band/badge. It’s a hard plastic wrist band that isn’t comfortable for a long stay. The old elastic bands were much better. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Mi familia y yo la pasamos super espectacular, celebrando el Prom de nuestro hijo, el cual fue todo un exito gtacias a las facilidades del hotela su personal. El cuarto super comodo nada de ruido, la piscina y la playa agradable y tranquila para descanzar.. Queremos destacar al joven Gabriel Gonzalez del Dto de Seguridad y el Sr Jose Rivera, encargado del area de la playa por el servicio honesto y diligente ya que tuvimos un objeto perdido de valor y estas personas lo encontraro y lo custodiaron y nos fue entregado en perfecto estado, gracias, mil gracias.

O hotel é ótimo, cheio de profissionais que estão sempre dispostos a ajudar. Tudo é limpo e brilhante, muito bem desenhado. Os quartos incluem uma máquina de café, uma chaleira, mas seria ótimo se incluísse um micro-ondas. A porta do banheiro é projetada sem fechadura e deixa uma pequena lacuna. A banheira não enche, então não tenha muitas esperanças. A vista da varanda é linda e agradável. A piscina é limpa e também alta (6 1/2 pés) (3 1/2 pés). O ginásio funciona, mas o spa e o jacuzzi infelizmente não funcionam devido ao COVID. A praia é extremamente limpa, nem uma única sujeira no chão!

Excelente! Tivemos uma excelente estadia e mal podemos esperar para voltar. Eimy, eu acredito, nos registrou e ela foi tão acolhedora e gentil. Ela nos mudou para o 16º andar com uma bela vista do oceano, não poderíamos ter pedido uma vista melhor. Ela também nos deu uma garrafa de vinho de cortesia! Os quartos são espaçosos e bem decorados. Extremamente limpo e imaculado. Adorei a cama, provavelmente foi a cama de hotel mais confortável em que já dormi. Os jardins são muito bem cuidados e limpos. Ótima piscina! Amamos o fácil acesso à praia com as cadeiras e guarda-sóis esperando por nós. No geral, uma excelente estadia e pode altamente recomendar a ninguém.

The hotel is great, filled with professional workers who are always willing to help. Everything is clean and shiny , designed very well . The rooms include a coffee machine , a kettle , but would be great if it included a microwave . The door to the bathroom is designed without a lock , and leaves a small gap . The bathtub doesn’t fill up so don’t get your hopes up . The balcony view is beautiful and nice . The pool is clean as well as tall (6 1/2 ft) (3 1/2ft) . The gym works but the spa and the jacuzzi sadly doesn’t due to COVID . The beach is extremely clean, not a single dirt on the floor !

Outstanding! We had an excellent stay and can’t wait to come back. Eimy, I believe, checked us in and she was so welcoming and kind. She upgraded us to the 16th floor with a beautiful view of the ocean, we could not have asked for a better view. She also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine! The rooms are spacious and very nicely appointed. Extremely clean and spotless. Absolutely loved the bed, it was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in. The grounds are very well kept and clean. Great pool! Loved the easy access to the beach with the chairs and umbrellas waiting for us. Overall, outstanding stay & can highly recommend to anyone.

Ocean Breeze outdoor restaurant at Royal Sonesta on Isla Verde Beach in Puerto Rico: Nice shady outdoor beachfront venue. Gyro Lamb pita sandwich was awesome. It came with a salad of spinach/ mixed greens and fries. The fries were the slender type and very tasty. Generous portions for the money ($18). Try the Taste of Tropics drink ($10). Sylvia, the server, was very personable.

Excelente locación, se puede ir caminando a muchos restaurantes y tiendas! El hotel en general muy buena atención y pronta respuesta, muy orgqnizado, acceso a la playa y piscina muy bien controlados. Totalmente recomendado.

Staff is SUPER friendly, enthusiastic and energetic! The hospitality is so very genuine here. A great stay for couples or families. Pool area is very clean and so is the beach area. Concierge very informative upon our arrival of places to visit and curfew. No longer intercontinental but still the wonderful staff who makes your stay in Puerto Rico a great experience!

While enjoying my trip, I injured my ankle. It was swollen and had a knot. I was either crawling or hopping on my good foot in my hotel room. I called the hotel and Gabriel came upstairs to help. Gabriel was a true blessing. He took great care of me. He wrapped my ankle up & went to get me ice. Hours later, he came back to check on me. He wrapped my ankle again. I felt confident in getting back to my trip and having fun. In a few hours, I was walking comfortably. The morning of my checkout, Gabriel came up once more to wrap my ankle & even offered to get me a cab when I leave. The customer service Gabriel displayed was impeccable. When I come back to Puerto Rico, I will always stay at Royal Sonesta because I feel safe and well taken care of. Thank you, Gabriel!
