The hotel was pretty nice. However, the only parking that was available was valet for $45 a day. I stayed two nights and was expecting $90 plus tax. When I checked out I grabbed my receipt and headed out. I looked at the receipt later, and noticed they had charged me over $260. I attempted calling several times, and eventually was directed to email their operations manager, Javier to correct this issue. He stated this would be corrected for me yet never fixed the over charge. Since then he has ignored all emails, and nothing has been done to rectify the situation. Make sure to review your receipt prior to leaving to avoid a situation like mine. Very frustrating, and it’s clear they don’t really care.

I have stayed at this property multiple times and have Ambassador Elite level within the Bonvoy program. During my last stay the valet significantly scratched my car. Note that using the valet is the only way to park at this hotel. I asked manager Javier to come help me. He came out, viewed the damage and assured me he would be in touch. He did not call or email. I reached out again and spoke to him during which time he said he would call back. He did not. I left a message for the GM who also never called back. The valet said I would have to get a court order to view the security tapes. The level of service is horrible as is local management. The Marriott hired the valet company and they do not offer any other parking. They need to be responsible and responsive to their customers. I stay in Marriott properties 100-120 nights per year. If they treat a loyal guest this way I can only imagine how poorly they would treat others. Beware of this property and the people who manage it!

First, everyone, to a person, was lovely. The food was delicious and high quality as were the cocktails. They accommodated my early check in request, which I appreciated. I entered the room and all seemed well. Unfortunately, the toilet had urine in it. Okay...easily flushed. The toilet was also low to the ground, which makes it hard to get up. Next, the bathroom sink had hair in it. Finally, the drawstring bag containing the hairdryer was dirty and also impossible to open.

I stayed here for a conference at Vanderbilt. The front desk & the valet staff were all very friendly & welcoming. The hotel was pretty clean. The bar & grill had many tasty options too & live music if you don't feel like going to far. I would like to return here again!

I am only giving 2 stars because it was a beautiful hotel and looked clean. It was also right across the Parthenon with a good view and was convenient to quickly get to the Parthenon for a wedding we were attending that weekend. Our first day we arrived and waited for our room check in, it was morning so we went to the bar /kitchen restaurant for breakfast by their elevators. We sat down (5 adults, one child) and ordered our food. They have two menus one for adults and one for children. Adults have a meal “Buttermilk Pancakes” for I think was $12 as does the kids menu labelled “Pancakes” for $5.99 that comes with fruit and bacon or meat. I ordered and pointed at the kid menu for my two year old (who can’t order herself obviously) that she will have the Pancakes. They gave us pancakes for her but noticed no fruit or bacon. We asked and the lady told us she gave us the adult pancakes meal…. Instead of trying to fix this situation for their mistake I asked if we could at least have the fruit. Immediately after she agreed to get the fruit, she stood and laughed with the table next to us for 15 minutes (this table also was seated with a lip stick stain on their glass). I later wanted to be ensured I wasn’t paying for the adult meal since I wanted the kid one and it was their mistake. Instead they charged us just for the fruit which was 6.99 opposed to the 5.99 kid meal. On top of all this our food was cold upon arrival and the bill 20% auto gratuity. Was a huge disappointment within hours of being at this hotel. Hours later our room became available. Which we didn’t mind since we knew we were early for check in. We stayed for a total 4 days 3 nights. Not once did room service come to clean our room, change our towels or garbage (that was holding dirty diapers from our child). The valet service was good and especially helpful with the shuttle to the downtown strip. However our last night the Valet left our car parked unlocked by the front entrance for over an hour. We noticed once we went down stairs an hour later to go for a walk with friends. Thankfully our other friends had better experience with their rooms. I’m sure we won’t be returning to this location due to the fact we live in Canada anyways but was just disappointing for all those reasons.

Hotel is perfectly fine. Beware the extra $34 PER NIGHT for parking! All for the privilege of parking a couple structures behind the hotel - and "hoofing it" to where the hotel is through a LONG DARK tunnel. When I mentioned it to front desk - they kindly offered to have my vehicle receive valet service for $40 a night.

The room was clean and location was great. The only thing I did not realize was that you had to pay $40 for valet each day. We could not find parking options around the hotel where we could park on our own for cheaper. That being said, the valet attendants always got our car within 5 minutes. Parking overall just seems like it is a hot commodity in Nashville.

Have stayed here several times. The staff are helpful and friendly; however, the bar staff could be a little friendlier - not always sure they enjoy their job. The hotel is located in a great location.

It was my first time in Tennessee with my family and I chose Marriott because it has never failed me before. And like always, this location went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I had a great experience. I highly recommend staying here - I wouldn’t bring my family anywhere else!

The view over the Parthenon was amazing, even the street lights at night looked stunning. However, only had worn out down pillows, and an extremely firm mattress. Needless to say a terrible nights sleep. The breakfast the next morning was quite nice and the attendee helping with breakfast was very accommodating, but the valet did not have our car ready as promised.

I had the most pleasant stay! Staff was so friendly & the room was super clean. The hotel is in a great area that’s walking distance to a lot of restaurants and key places in nashville. Plus the food in the restaurant was super delicious!

Stayed here for a long weekend while visiting family at the university. Was a little worried about COVID so spent more time at the hotel than I might have normally and honestly was a great stay. The hotel bar had way better cocktails (and staff) than most I’ve come across, there were thoughtful touches in the lobby and in-room bathrooms/showers, and the gym was significantly better maintained than any Marriott I’ve been to. All in all very good and would gladly stay again.

Jantamos uma noite no térreo e foi excelente. Porções de bom tamanho. É uma propriedade mais cara para ficar de fora e você precisará equilibrar seu bolso versus as vantagens. A livraria ficava ao virar da esquina e pudemos encontrar muitas coisas para fazer nas proximidades.

We were here for a conference and it is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of Vanderbilt's campus. My room was very comfortable and the office space with desk and couch was very nice foe getting work done, while at a conference. Rooms equipped with iron and ironing board, along with hair dryer.The hotel was very generous to provide the shuttle to run prople downtown.We had dinner one night downstairs and it was excellent.Good sized portions.It is a mor expensive property to stay out and you will need to balance out your pocketbook vs. the perks.The bookstore was right around the corner and we were able to find many things to do nearby.

Place was clean and decent. T.V wouldn’t work because the remote was broken took two days to get a remote we were only staying 3 nights. Paid extra to stay at this hotel because we loved Marriott beds. This hotels beds are hard as a rock. Then we got placed with a hockey team all on our floor so of course there was no sleep anyways. Disappointed in this stay.Shannon the Shuttle driver was very professional and great. The other driver complained the whole time and kept saying I’m independent I don’t work for Marriott and actually chased someone down for a tip while we were left in the shuttle. Was not comfortable with the situation

Great staff, super friendly and very clean and updated property. I left my makeup bag in the bathroom in our room and didn't realize it till the next day. Brian at the front desk took the time to go check the room we'd stayed in and took the time to call me back immediately as he said. I find that impressive and highly recommend this specific Marriott

Classy place, near Stadium. Spectacular lobby bar and Front Desk Service. NOTE: make sure you use the correct parking garage, there is an office building next door, not clearly marked. Otherwise, great place!

The staff here are incredible. They are warm and welcoming and super helpful. I came in town for business for one night. The room was clean and well kept. I ordered room service and the food came from the restaurant located inside the hotel and the food was very good. My flight wasn’t until later that day so the staff kept my belonging in valet while I explored a bit and had lunch. Due to rain I just stayed at hotel and they were kind enough to give me a token for a free drink! Will definitely stay here again!
