“My friends and I had this hotel booked for over a month and had already fully paid for everything. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were immediately turned away because we were all 19 or 20. We were all under the impression that we only needed to be 18 to book the hotel room and had already fully paid and booked the room. The age requirement of 21 was never mentioned while booking the room. We should not have been able to reserve and pay for the room if we did not meet the requirements.Communication with the front staff and the manager was terrible, as they would not listen to anything we had to say. I understand following the policy, but there was no care for what we had to say and no help was offered what so all. My friends and I were all basically kicked out of the hotel and forced to go back out on the streets of New York with all of our luggage and nowhere to go.They at least told us we would get a refund. However, that was months ago and we are STILL WAITING. The communication regarding the refund has also been terrible and very unhelpful.”
