“I stayed here Friday-Sunday and it was the hotel from hell! During check-in, I had to squeeze past the armed security guard and two of his guests who were all hanging out and blocking the entrance. I realized that the bar advertised on their page is not functional. It is for show for photos only. The lobby space was large and empty and the only sound was whirring construction-sounding noises. Later, around 4:30 pm on a Friday night, we were bringing our things in from the car when a guy on the street pulled a knife out!! And told us to “watch our backs”. The security guard was not paying Attention (this was common, if the security guard wasn’t socializing, he was almost always somewhere other than the door). This location is UNSAFE for solo travelers, women, families, and other vulnerable people. The closest places (including McDonald’s) mostly close by 5pm at the latest so be sure you eat early as nothing else will be available!! And the “hot breakfast” in the morning is gross. Low quality stuff similar to the holiday inn breakfast. Our room was very dirty on check in. Lots of hair all over the floor. Trash still in the trash can. But the housekeeper did finally show up and open the door to let herself into our room while we were naked in there! So at least she tried I guess?! The room itself and the view were great but did not redeem it for all the other awful stuff! Avoid if you can and stay in a cheaper, safer hotel by the inner harbor.”

“We were visiting the area and decided to stay in Washington DC the first three days and Baltimore the last three days. I picked this hotel because it was new and when traveling, who wouldn't like to stay at a recently opened hotel. Well... it was new, fresh and clean as expected. Rooms were spacious, had a fridge and microwave. The front desk associate was pleasant, so overall, no complaints with the hotel itself. What we were NOT expecting was the area it was in. Drear is the best way to describe it. It looked old and run down. People just hanging out along the street. Then, when we found out that the self parking was NOT connected to the hotel, it threw us for a loop. You have to park in the public parking garage across the street. AS SOON AS I entered my room, I started searching for a different hotel. We even considered driving back to Washington DC and riding out the remainder of our trip there. We decided to sleep on it before making any rash decisions and I'm glad we did. We parked in the parking garage the first night which cost $16. After that we parked on the street. In that area it cost any where from .75 - $1.50 per hour which is great if you're leaving early and only coming back to take a break at the hotel for a few hours before dinner. After 8pm, it's free until 8am the next morning. When we left the hotel, we walked with purpose and we didn't have any problems.”
