“We had a terrible experience here! We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights and every single day the toilet flooded. Even after they sent someone to "fix" it, the toilet was still slow when flushing nothing. The third time it overflowed, water poured into the hallway and under the bed. We called to the front desk to report it immediately and their response was, "Nobody can come in until after 7am. You can come downstairs and get more towels if you need." It took 45 minutes for anyone to show up and help. We had to call AGAIN to remind them we needed help. The actual maintenance staff/engineers who helped us were very nice. I felt bad for them because this was a recurrent issue. At the same time our toilet was overflowing, they also had to deal with a ceiling leak several floors down. The cleanliness of the room itself was okay. When we initially arrived there were a couple of short curly hairs on the bathroom sink, which fortunately we could rinse down the drain. Still, that shouldn't have even been an issue. The room smell was awful, like chemicals covering up for a smoker. It was insanely strong at first and only faded slightly over the course of 3 days. The location itself is fine because there's plenty within walking distance. Just be prepared to sleep poorly. You'll hear sirens you'll through the night since the fire station is nearby. Probably the only good thing here is that the staff are very nice. Overall, we were disappointed in our stay and hope people steer clear of this hotel. We are warning our friends and family to stay away, and personally, we will NEVER book here again. “We arrived super late because of a flight delay, but Nicole greeted us with a smile. After sharing that this was our anniversary trip, she upgraded us to a King Suite on the top floor!!!! Wow!! So lovely!! The room is clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. Breakfast was tasty each morning with different options every day. Everyone we came in contact with was kind and helpful. Can't say enough good things about this hotel.”
